President's Message
The motto for my service to Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society for the years to come shall be to promote Sikhism and Education (Sikhi-te-Sikhya).
I feel that the educational system in the country has been facing hardships from the past several years due to lack of better facilities and opportunities for the youth to excel in their fields of interests. As a matter of fact, overall economic growth has remained disconnected from employment generation noting that young people continue to suffer from persistent unemployment and lack of quality job opportunities even after attaining best education.

Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Urban Estate, Kapurthala, a frontrunner among the chain of institutions, is a school in the region affiliated with the CBSE. Founded in the name of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, the eighth Guru of the Sikhs, the school was established in 1967 under the aegis of the Chief Khalsa Diwan.

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public school (hereinafter referred as the school), located in Sardar Atma Singh Urban Estate, Kapurthala started its journey of imparting education, with social and moral values, under the supreme flagship of the Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society in the year 2013. The School is affiliated to the CBSE and the Affiliation no is 1631044.
It offers a board completely balanced and relevant curriculum that encourages the students to grow into the lifelong learners. The school is committed to provide co-curricular activities to its students so as to enrich their learning experience and to take their knowledge to the highest level.

The curriculum is planned meticulously to inculcate 21st-century skills. Students are trained “How to Think and not “What to Think”. It is the endeavor of every staff member to work in unison with the child by providing personalized attention to each and everyone and ensuring the best outcomes for each child. We nurture their minds for academic excellence so that every child can say, “Yes I Can!”We are making untiring efforts to make lifelong learners and strong citizens of the nation.
